FESCO OJSC is named the industry leader in the ‘Best Shipping Company – 2012’ category of Industry Leader awards organized by the Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport.

In March 2014, FESCO Primorye, a multipurpose vessel added to FESCO’s fleet in September 2013, begins regular container services on the Vladivostok – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Vladivostok line.

In October 2014, FESCO OJSC wins a tender organized by the Ministry of Defense of Argentina to participate in a project for supplying Argentinian scientific research stations in Antarctica in 2015.

The company’s strategic development is based primarily on development of its container business that has high growth potential. In recent years, FESCO was gradually disposing of non-container vessels in its fleet and replacing old vessels with newer and more efficient ones, which resulted to reductions in operating and maintenance costs.
