2005 in March “Transgarant” successfully commissioned its own train form on the Far-Eastern railway. The project was implemented jointly with the subsidiary company “Transgarant — Vostok Co., Ltd.”

In July “Transgarant” own equipment stock topped the quantity of the leased units for the first time in the Company history. In November the own equipment stock was over 6 000 units. “Transgarant” acquired a railway station “Pervoozernaya”. The infrastructure of this station would be developed further for handling cargo railway cars, arriving to Chelyabinsk Integrated Iron-and-Steel Works.

According to “The Finance” magazine, “Transgarant” ranked 331st in Top-500 of the biggest companies in Russia. In October the Company ranked 311-st as per revenues, according to “The Expert” and “The Finance”. “Transgarant” held 393rd position in Top-600 of the biggest companies in Russia, according to RBC.

FESCO inked a shipbuilding contract with Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa (Poland) for construction of the biggest in Russia boxships of 3100 TEU capacity. The first of the series would be delivered in December 2007.

FESCO Lines China (the fifth own agency company of FESCO) started its business.

2006 FESCO fleet was replenished with 6 newbuilt boxships and a Ro-Ro vessel. FESCO Transport Group quitted cross-trade business and concentrated all its efforts on development of railway and terminal divisions. The Company strategy vector turned to “from sea to shore”, that meant development of the end-to-end container transportation service under a unified bill of lading.

“Transgarant” — the biggest in Russia rolling stock operator — integrated in FESCO Transport Group.

“First Quantum” Group and FESCO made a strategic alliance to manage and develop the biggest existing in Russia container terminal “The First Container Terminal” in St.-Petersburg and “The Baltic Container Terminal” under construction in Ust-Luga port. The latter will have the utmost rated capacity compared to the terminals of the former USSR. The both terminals integrated in FESCO Transport Group.

FESCO rolling stock equipment reached the historical maximum level of 14000 units.

FESCO Lines, as an operator of FESCO liner business, was incorporated in Vladivostok.

According to Russian Railways Co., Plc., “Transgarant” was nominated the best railway operator in 2006.

2007 “Russkaya Troyka” launched the project on construction of the integrated intermodal container terminal in Vladivostok.

A new boxship “the FESCO Altay” was delivered to FESCO.

“Transgarant” incorporated its subsidiary in Kazakhstan.
