In August the terminal handled 17,464 TEU (+29%, year-on-year). The volume of export container handled at VCT made 48,511 TEU in January-August 07 (+32%) including 6,734 TEU of export containers handled in August 07 (+32%, year-on-year). In the 8-month period handling of import container grew by 30% to 45,055 TEU including 6,381 TEU handled in August (+24%, year-on-year). The volume of coastal-trade containers made 30,494 TEU (+5%) including 4,349 TEU handled in August (+26%). Theloaded/empty containers ratio was 54.97%/45.03% respectively.
