The port has a total quay length of 4,200m with berth depth ranging from 11,7 m to 13 m. Area
Equipment Multipurpose universal berths (3-15) equipped with more than 50 cranes. For handling over-sized or overweight cargoes there are operational 100-ton capacity floating self-propelled crane, Gottwald Mobile Harbor Cranes with lifting capacity of 100 and 63 tones accordingly, as well as 63-tonne capacity Gottwald Portal Harbor Crane. Container terminal is equipped with 2 Hitachi STS cranes (hoist capacity 30,5 tones) and other specialized equipment. The berthing length of dedicated container terminal #16 is 370 m, the depth is 13 m. The Port of Vladivostok handles bulk cargo, in particular grain. On berth #6 there is operational Big Bag Filling system for packing bulk cargo in bags and big bags with the capacity of 1,500 tons/day. Liquid oil products are handled at the Port's Oil Terminal located on berth #11. Here up to 20,000 dwt vessels enjoy modern facilities. The Oil Terminal provides enough capacity for one-time storage of up to 15,000 tons of light oil products and 10,500 tons of dark oil products, including oil. Most cargo are delivered and released from the port by railroad. Total length of the port rail tracks is 28 km. The capacity of port's railway station is 1,000 wagons. |
