Safety Management System

Proving the customers with high-quality and safe services, guaranteeing safety of cargo throughout the route, FESCO assures a high level of safety in its activities and strictly observes the international and national standards and regulations in safety and pollution prevention.

The essentials of FESCO policy are following:

• assurance of safe operation of vessels,
• assurance of safety of the environment,
• effective protection against revealed risks.

The basic goals for the personnel are the constant improvement of acquired skills as well as training of actions if any possible emergencies occur.

In view of optimal and effective safety management the Company operates the Safety Management System (SMS).

The matters of keeping the SMS includes the procedures of assurance of safe operation of vessels, powers and communication lines between the personnel on board and ashore, procedures of transfer of messages on accidents and unusual situations, plans of training of the personnel for similar situations and actions in the event of accidents, procedures of audits and improvement of the introduced Safety Management System.

The Company Safety Management System is certificated by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
