Vladivostok Commercial Port

Vladivostok Commercial Port

The Port of Vladivostok is situated on north-west of the ice-free Golden Horn Bay. The port is open to Russian and foreign vessels al  year round. It serves 16 lines, including 10 container lines, 4 Ro-Ro and 2 passenger lines.

Being historically oriented for domestic cargo handling, the port was introduced to foreign trade in 1991. Since then Vladivostok Commercial Port has been constantly increasing its export-import turnover.

Advantageous geographical location of the Port of Vladivostok predetermines its significant role in overseas and short-sea shipping traffic in Asia-Pacific region. Major foreign traffic flows link the port with South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Major part of cabotage traffic goes to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Magadan, Anadyr, Korsakov and ports of Chukotka.

Vladivostok Commercial Port is conveniently positioned for cargo carriage by various transport modes: truck, rail. Its layout as well as the region's railways structure make cargo transportation by rail to/from the port cheaper than from other ports nearby. Port's world-class servicing infrastructure includes stevedoring, agency, forwarding, towage, surveyor, tallyman and other companies.
