FESCO Transportation Group summed up operating results for the 1H 2010. During the reporting period the volume of sea container shipping grew by 58% and amounted to 160,318 TEU, against 101,261 TEU in the 1H 2009.

FESCO Audited IFRS accounts reflect the Group’s financial standing as at December 31 2009, representing the results for the most challenging period of 2009 and taking into account technical breaches of a number of covenants. In addition, consolidated accounts include no contribution from port terminals of NCC group, at that period still 50% owned by FESCO.

FESCO is planning to use JTSL service weekly. In this way, cargo owners will be able to ship containers from Japan every week and not twice a month as it was earlier.
